Motivation
Providing your
goal is completely in line with your deepest desires and has you jumping
for joy just thinking about it, then you will need strong
motivating
factors, reminders and prompts to keep you motivated to seethem through.
There are
three main obstacles that stand to ruin your motivation:-
1. Time
2. Money
3. Yourself |

Motivation
comes from within, you will have to organise yourself into an
"armour plated" version of yourself because there will be so many
different types of "motivation destroyers" headed your way and some
will filter through if you
allow them to.
If you take
dieting for example, at the beginning you are determined to
do it this
time, you want to be able to go into any shop, grab a size 10
pair of jeans
head into the changing room and put them on knowing
they will fit
perfectly.

Two weeks into
your new diet and someone you know suggests a
"quicker diet"
or says " you don't need to lose any weight you are lovely
as you are" or "go on, one won't hurt". Suddenly you are filled with
doubts
and confusion about why you started the diet and you give up and
look for another one. To help you build your "armour plating" gather
some great tools to help you. |

KEEPING ON TRACK SOME RULES |
|

One very
powerful motivating factor is Visualisation. The images
of your dream home, car, travel destination can be very motivational
and powerful and help you to see what can be yours. For this
reason Vision Boards are a must have accessory for any
goal setter.
It has been
proven scientifically that the mind cannot distinguish between what
is real and what is not real. ( This is the reason that simulators
work ) and in tests run by athletes it was found that by
visualising running the race
they used the same muscles in their body by using just their mind as they did by
running the race itself.

RULE 1: No
one can change you and you can't really change anyone else. It's
your responsibility.
RULE 2: Habits are not broken, they
are placed, by layering new behaviour patterns on top of old ones.
Don't expect immediate, amazing results,
give yourself a year or two. |
|
"Some people
want it to happen, some wish it
would happen,
others make it happen."
which one
are you? |
|
RULE 3: A
daily routine adhered to over time will become second nature, like
riding
a bike. Practise positive behaviour
for a winning lifestyle.
PS A negative attitude leads to
a loser
lifestyle! Watch out for
those
negatives! |
